Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
10 Oreo cookies, crushed
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Gently fold in the crushed Oreo cookies until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
